Standardized testing, while not required in Illinois or Indiana, may be on your mind.  Should you test? When should you test? That decision is best left to each family.  The following resources are listed only to serve you in making an informed decision.  Grassroots does not endorse nor encourage these test resources and/or standardized testing as a whole.

Within Your Local School
Some local school districts will allow your child to be tested during their annually scheduled testing.  Check with the principal and staff at the public school your child would be attending.  Some local school officials may not be as accommodating as others to your wishes so be patient and persistent.  You may also have to bear the responsibility of making sure you receive the test scores when completed.  Your school may keep a copy, also.

There are many options available, you are encouraged to seek further information before making any final decisions.
